Since 2010 I have been working as an Italian language coach for operas. My experience in this field is very wide: it includes individual lessons, chamber choirs and theaters (Musikfestspiele Potsdam for the baroque opera „Calandro“ by Ristori and the Kammeroper Schloß Rheinsberg for Puccini’s „Tosca“). I have taught Italian at the “Carl Maria von Weber” conservatory in Dresden between 2012 and 2017. In 2017 I was also lecturer for “Italian for the Opera” classes at the Udk Berlin. Among my tasks are to improve the singers intelligibility, the translation of librettos, to deal with international artists with very different language levels and to give them the cultural-historical background in order to improve their comprehension of the text. I love sharing my knowledge and thanks to my singing studies I am very effective with singers. The coaching can be useful in preparation of an audition (for instance for an agency or conservatory) , an opera or a concert. A correct diction helps furthermore to overcome the technical difficulties of singers. Singers, singing teachers, choir and orchestra conductors are welcome. On request with pianist.
